NPFC Secures 1 Point at Recent WMPRL – 14th…
WMPRL – 14th November 2021
Just before the teams first set of WFA National League fixtures, the team attended the West Midlands Regional League to gain some last-minute practice. This saw the team up against two teams where the team could bring together everything they have work on against them.
Villa vs NPFC
First, the team came up against Villa Rockets PFC for their second match. The team struggled to break through a tough defence during the first half. However, even after some efforts to break through this and create opportunities, the team was unable to score a goal, leading to a 0-0 draw.
NPFC vs WFA PFC
During the second game, the team played against WBA PFC. The team wanted to secure a result after the 0-0 draw and even through an early goal, putting them at a 1 goal lead, WBA was able to come back, leading to a 2-1 loss for the team. Despite losing the game, the team was able to read the play and create opportunities collectively.
Time to Prepare!
Overall, the team played reasonably well with plenty to gain from the matches played. The team now has one final session before they officially return to the MDUK WFA National Premiership League. We wish the team good luck for next weekend!
