AGM + 16 Years of NPFC
Today at NPFC, we are celebrating 16 years of us being a club! We have come a long way since the early days, we have had many players compete at many different levels and tournaments. In addition, our team have achieved great things, meet amazing people and our club has progressed so far. It is a very exciting time for the club at the moment as we slowly move back to playing Powerchair Football after a long time away due to the pandemic.
AGM
Yesterday the 4th of July, the club also held their annual Annual General Meeting (AGM). The club talks about many of the things we did over the past year and the progress made amid the Covid-19 pandemic. All players had the chance to vote on new committee members, who would represent and work behind the scenes to ensure the club continues to run at its best.
Looking Ahead
As for the 2021-2022 year, we haven’t got an absolute plan but one thing is for certain, we will be playing more games and more players returning to play (hopefully). We will continue to protect our players by providing clear guidance and working with others to ensure everyone at the club is safe until things change. More on what measures we have put in place can be found via our Covid Guidelines post, which covers all the protective measures we have put into place and a video showcasing them.
Thank You, Everyone
We would like to thank everyone who has been with us over the last 16 years. Without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Everyone contributed something to the club, whether that is by turning up to training, committing yourself to match days, engaging in any form of fundraising or even by reading our content, you have enabled us to continue playing powerchair football. That said, we must continue to do the same in the many years to come, so let’s aim high and help us continue to help more people get into this beautiful sport.
We Need Your Help!
We are always looking for new content and topics to discuss on the website. If have any powerchair football-related content you want publishing on your behalf i.e. to share your powerchair football charity fundraising events, players experiences and more, then please consider contacting us via “share@npfc.org.uk”. While it isn’t necessary, your cooperation is highly appreciated by everyone at NPFC so let’s get sharing!
